Take on the London to Paris cycle challenge, a truly amazing experience and a fantastic fundraising opportunity. Join this adventure to make friends and push your limits, all while supporting people living with incurable illness. The journey consists of four days in the saddle, cycling 309 miles from capital to capital.

Begin in London, cycle through the English countryside before crossing the Channel to Calais. Then, ride through charming French country lanes, with a glorious finish riding along the Champs Elysées before reaching the Eiffel Tower.

The cost of this spectacular journey is £149 with a minimum sponsorship target of £2000, and our partner Global Adventure Challenges takes care of all the practical aspects of the trip. All you need to do is saddle up and fundraise for us—we’ll support you all the way!

Join us for a summer step challenge and fundraise to support local people living with incurable illness. Every day, our nurses walk around 10,000 steps while delivering care to patients – and this summer, you can step in their shoes by taking on our sponsored walking challenge. All you need to do is choose a month that suits you (June, July, August or September) and get stepping while fundraising for us. You can aim for 10,000 steps a day like our nurses and care teams – or set your own target that works for you. Why not make it a team challenge with friends, family or colleagues? Registration is £5 and includes a t-shirt. Add a matching doggy bandana for £3 if your four-legged friend is joining you! Everyone who completes the challenge will receive a certificate of thanks, and those raising over £50 will receive a fabulous new medal – raise £150+ and you’ll receive an extra special gift! All our care is free, but it’s not without cost. We must raise £2 for every £3 we spend, and every step taken and pound raised helps. It’s because you care that we can.

Gather your crew and get ready to race head-to-head along the River Severn in one of Shrewsbury's most exciting summer events. Communi-tea Time is the perfect excuse to gather friends, family, colleagues or community groups while making a real difference. Getting involved is a piece of cake. Simply choose a date in October, pick your venue, invite guests and pop the kettle on! You can host your event anywhere, from homes and workplaces to care homes and community venues, or online. Hospice Care Week (5 – 11 October) creates even more opportunities to start conversations about the importance of hospice care and how its support matters for local families. Get your Christmas celebrations off to a flying start with our sponsored Rudolph Relay! Our festive favourite is open to nurseries, sports clubs and primary schools with children in Years 1–6 across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and North Powys – and teachers and staff are welcome to join in too! You choose the time and the specifics of your event – pick any date in November or December 2026 that works for your timetable, then decide the location, distance and pace. Whether your pupils dash, dance, skip, hop or walk, every step helps raise funds to support local families we care for. To help spruce up your day, we'll provide a participant pack, a classroom activity, plus a pair of antlers and a sticker for every child. You’ll also have plenty of support from our team, with a Rudolph Relay event pack full of helpful resources and ideas. We ask for a minimum sponsorship of £2 per participant, but there’s nothing stopping you from going above and beyond if you’re up for a challenge – the school that raises the most per pupil will win a fabulous trophy to celebrate their fundraising achievement! Do you think your boss deserves a day behind bars? Now’s your chance to make it happen - for a great cause! Introducing Prison Break, a brand-new fundraiser in support of Severn Hospice. Watch your leadership teams swap the boardroom for a jail cell and discover just how far their network will go to bail them out. Nominate your boss to be “locked up” for the day at Shrewsbury Prison and challenge them to raise vital funds for Severn Hospice to secure their release. Throughout the day, they’ll face a series of fun and creative challenges - all documented from their own social media channels to boost donations and reach a minimum bail of £999 From desperate pleas for freedom to hilarious fundraising antics, it’s up to them to drum up support from their clients, colleagues, friends and followers and raise enough cash to make their great escape. No donations? No parole!
